The birdhouses at the Big Red Barn are both functional and decorative. They provide a safe place for birds to nest. They also provide character for your garden. Birdhouses and other garden decor

Most of the birdhouses at the Big Red Barn are unique because of the variety of vintage and antique hardware used on them. An old hinge or a door knob may provide a great place on which the bird can perch before entering her home. Birdhouses are usually constructed of wood, often recycled from old fences from around San Diego county for that rustic look. Roofs may be wood or tin. Decorative hardware varies and can come from as far away as Texas.
